LOKL Coffee Co @ Jalan Tun H S Lee, Kuala Lumpur

It has been a month I didn't blog about food but my Instagram account @foodlovers , is active almost everyday, so you can check through my IG account with a lot of delicious food without a lot words.

Two of my friends ordered these when we tried out LOKL Coffee which is nearby SEGi College and this brownies (RM8) tasted so much better than the ones in Secret Recipe. I can taste the chocolate very much and it was not too hard to eat. Overall was just nice to eat with Gelato vanila ice cream (Add RM 3).

I ordered Mocha Crepe Cake. Softer than I expected and it tasted so-so to me. All the crepe cakes that I tried were from Nadeje @ Melaka or Dreamz Bakery @ Kota Damansara. In my own opinion, the taste of the crepe cakes from all the cafes do not taste very special to me except the one at Indulge Cafe @ Kuchai Entrepreneur Park which is offering Durian flavours crepe cake. That was like the best and the strongest taste with the flesh of the durian ! I really love it!

Lavender Earl Grey Crepe Cake.

The ambience of the shop.

3 COURSE: Starter, week's special and dessert for (RM27.50++) and it come with this starter called Corn Fritter

How does it taste? It tasted crunchy and very aromatic with the corn. I will order this again in the future if they are offerring this menu again because the set lunch will change every week (according to the waitress).

You can choose drinks or desserts of the day if you have choose the set lunch. So I decided to give  their Ice Cappuccino a try, which was what the waitress suggest to me. One of my friend fell in love with the hot latte.

Hot latte (RM10.90++) with love foam. One of my friends said looks like a white onion foam. LOL

Feeling a little cold inside the shop? You can always choose another option to sit outdoor.

Here comes my main course meal which is Lemongrass Chicken Sandwich. Grilled lemongrass chicken served on a thick sandwich loaf, with onions, cucumbers and peanut dressing. I like the chicken and the sauce but not the sandwich loaf which was hard for me to bite. The waitress asked every table including me "How was the food ?" and I replied her the same comment that I wrote above.

The menu of LOKL Coffee Co.

Sky Juice is free and refillable in the bottle. It is a very good place to hang out with friends by having their cakes here or drinking coffee too.

Overall the shop is good but I won't be eating the sandwich again in near future because it is expensive for a SEGi students to have a lunch for RM30.25 after service charge for a 3-course meals. The service was excellent here and the waitress was friendly too. This shop doesn't judge customers to serve food like the other restaurant I went to in the same area which was Reggae Mansion KL.

We appreciate the time you took to read our post and drop a comment or two :) Many thanks! We solemnly swear we ate everything on our plate, unless it is inedible :P or it tasted so bad no one can go through chewing and swallowing it anymore.
