Hello everybody!!!!!!!
When I say pizza what is the first thing that comes to you mind?! I think most people would say Pizza Hut, Domino's or even Papa John!!! But after awhile you just kinda feel like you wanna try something new just to change it up a little, then Cafe Barbera might just be the place you're looking for!!!!!!!!
This time me, Andrew, Tyng and her cousin decide to try the one in Setia Walk in Puchong.
As this is my first time being there I would like to talk a little about the place. As you can see from the picture above it has various fountains and water features or would I say like a small lake in the centre of Setia Walk, being a place with so much water you would think that its airy or at least not hot but WRONG!!!!! I don't know it is the weather that day or its the place but its super hot the four of use are sweating like hell!!!! Ok!! Now back to the cafe!!
First of all the cafe is air-conditioned, if not in the hot weather no one would wanna go in, the environment is very Italian coffee shop you have the dark wood interior with some poster on the wall and on the ceiling yes ceiling!!
We decide to order the set dinner to share since its already 9.30 pm, the set comes with a dessert and a of drink. The main course you choose will determine the price of the set, you can choose from pasta to pizza and even local cuisine. We decided to go with the Hawaiian Chicken pizza.
Hawaiian Chicken pizza
As you can see the pizza is around the normal 9 inch pizza that we get from Domino's and the size is just nice for the four of us. I must say, this is one of the best Hawaiian Chicken pizza I've tasted and they all agreed too!! There is a good mixture of flavours and the portion is just right unlike the ones I've tasted its either too much of the tomato sauce or too little of the chicken, but this as you can see the ingredient is evenly spread across the pizza. It crunchy, have a perfect amount of cheese and when you pull the pizza you can see the cheese still stringed to each other.
After having the pizza, they then served us the dessert
Dessert: Vanilla Pudding
The dessert is not actually called Vanilla Pudding but I don't remember whats it called and it tastes like Vanilla Pudding so I'll just call it that. You can see that there are like chocolate sauce over it but actually its a mixture of chocolate and coffee. The pudding its kinda sweet for me and Andrew, but Tyng say its ok. It a nice pudding but if it would be less sweet then it would be better for me. Oh, can you see the glass of drink in the picture above ?! Thats the drink that came along with the set, its Lime juice but it tastes more like sky juice to us.
The whole set cost RM 25 plus a 10% service charge.
Overall I would say its a good place for having Italian food with a reasonable price.

Cafe Barbera @ Sunway Pyramid
Every time I walked into Sunway Pyramid from my college, I always pass by this cafe but I never went in. It is because when it comes to spaghetti, not many can make it the way I like. Some taste awful, some taste wonderful. I did not go in because I was afraid that it tastes awful.
However, thank goodness it was alright!
In the middle of the room, there is a long table which looked like a meeting table for me but smaller. Above this table, there is a chandelier.

Oooooooh look at that |
I tried Penne with Sausages.
Inside there are olives, capsicums, onions and chilli flakes.
I did not like it because it was spicy for me. I have a low tolerance for spicy food.
The sausages may be chipolata sausages too. Either way it made me a dragon.
It costs RM 13.90.
My sister will always order carbonara. Her dish is called Beef Carbonara. It costs RM 15.90 and she loves it. She wants to bring her other half here next time (her twin. My younger sisters are twins.)
Dad is a lasagne man. He ordered Chicken Lasagne. It costs RM 11.90. He said it was good and he would order it again when he dines here.
I usually do not take pictures of drinks because most look more or less the same but here it is.
The front glass is Ice Peach Tea and the glass at the back is Ice Lemon Tea.
Each drink costs RM 4.90
I would go back to try the carbonara next time. ;)
Update: I tried the carbonara. It is just nice, not so creamy but filling. Definitely better than Penne with Sausages for me ;)
