Kuching Food Part 1

My cousin and I finally got to explore Kuching! :) We were lucky to have a friend to take us around and acted as our tour guide too.

On the first night, we went to a food court. We had fried radish cakes, fried tofu/ beancurd, Teochew fried oyster (the non-crispy one because we ordered wrongly) and the tomato-based kuey teow soup (mistakenly ordered the kuey teow one but tastes good also) ;D

Here comes the pictures:

Teochew Fried Oyster (non-crispy)
I had fried oyster like this but it's the crispy one in Kampung Koh, Sitiawan. For those who never had o-chien/ fried oyster like this, it would be special I suppose. The oyster tasted fresh to me.

Fried tofu/ beancurd
The fried tofu/ beancurd tastes good on its own and with the sauce too.

The tomato-based kuey teow soup is good too but not my favourite.

Fried radish cakes

The fried radish cakes can make one feel jelat or full after a few bites but it's good. I recommend this dish for sharing.

Update: Kuching Part 2 is posted too!

We appreciate the time you took to read our post and drop a comment or two :) Many thanks! We solemnly swear we ate everything on our plate, unless it is inedible :P or it tasted so bad no one can go through chewing and swallowing it anymore.
