If you are looking for a good place to eat in Tanah Rata, Cameron Highlands, I recommend The Lord's Cafe. It is also formerly known as the T Cafe.
It is located above Marrybrown. You have to take the side stairs up to the cafe.

When I first ate in this cafe, it was known by its old name T Cafe. I was with my family and tried the scones and I love it.
I was glad that the scones still taste good after all these years.
2 scones cost RM 2.50.
In Rossdale Bistro, the scones cost RM 6.50.
In Bharat Tea Plantation, the scones cost RM12 for 2 scones.
There are two types of scones served here: the original and the Strawberry scones.
The Strawberry scones are the ones with the red bits on top of the scones in the picture below.
The scones come with butter and whipped cream.
They are also served warm.
I would recommend to take the original scones but there's no harm to try the strawberry scones.
Everyone has different preferences and tastes.
On a side note, so far Sweet Chat in Mid Valley serve good scones in KL for me.
We ordered Strawberry Cheesecake too.
Amelia commented that it has a very gelatin feel.
I tried it and did not like it.
A friend who ate here said that the lemon cheesecake and cheese sandwich were good too.
